Dao Yin Ruler

A short stick can give you a tough workout.

Sifu Lomas presents The Dao Yin Ruler set of exercises from the QuanShan sect of Taoism. These movements will develop your understanding of internal power. They begin by stretching the body internally and progress to moving exercises which develop a more martial sense of the body.

Once you have developed good movement within these set patterns they can then be incorporated them into more free movement, combining different stances and playing with different ideas, giving you a fuller understanding of the three external harmonies working together in the body. This set of movements are called ‘seed empowerments’ because they will plant a seed inside you which will grow and develop within yourself.
