The Shaolin 3 (also known as ‘Kidney Breathing’ in some styles) is a method of hard chi kung conditioning which strengthens the mid-region of the body hugely. It is highly beneficial for health and also develops the ability to withstand powerful strikes in the mid-region of the body. This simple exercise only takes a couple minutes a day to complete and develops deep muscles that are not exercised by regular situps or abdominal exercises.
