Ba Bu Da – ‘Eight Step Hit’ Kung Fu
As taught by famous XingYi Master Hung I-Hsiang.
Ba Bu Da, literally meaning ‘Eight Step Hit’, teaches you how to generate effective power in a relatively short period of time and, well trained, gives you techniques to make you a refined, dynamic fighter.
Sifu Lomas values this set of forms highly and it is therefore the first set of forms that he teaches at his school.
Although it originates from a shaolin, this set was taught by legendary Master Hung I-Hsiang in his school with a XingYi flavour.
There are eight 'forms' or 'roads' in Ba Bu Da. For each one, Sifu Lomas demonstrates the form, he breaks it down into footwork and hands, and lastly demonstrates some potential fighting applications.
